Hi all, I am a new mom she is 3mths old and I am having a much harder time losing the weight this time around. I am 12 years older so I was prepared but I thought it would not be quite this hard! LOL Very excited to be a part of this as I have heard it is a great site with lots of support.

Great job, starting is the hardest part sometimes. Just remember it took 9 months (or longer) to put on all the weight, so son't expect it to drop off overnight, it usually takes about 9 months to get back to your pre pregnancy weight, just stick with it :)

I totally understand I have a 7 month old and I was in great shape pre-pregnancy in a size 5. I gained 40 lbs while pregnant because I was high risk and couldn't do the things I wanted to. So here I am 7 months after and I have lost 25 lbs of it. The first 20 I dropped in the first week and I thought man this will be a breeze but alas no. I am nursing and it took me a long time to find that perfect calorie ratio to lose weight. I thought that nursing was going to make it easier to lose weight but my body really wants to hold onto the weight this last 15 lbs. I too keep telling myself it will take time. I work out 4-5 times a week to the Jillian Michaels dvds and I try to take a walk on those days if I have the time or my kids let me work it in.

Just the fact that you are on here is a huge accomplishment. Good luck!
