Hey Everyone!
I am very new to this program; I was introduced to it by a friend who has been really successful. In the past, I've been a WW junkie, but wanted to try something new - and FREE! I'm doing okay with it, however, I do find it a bit more challenging in that I am not used to "counting" my veggies or fruits.
I live in Indiana and I'm a newly empty nester! I decided that since she has left for college, it's time to put MYSELF back on the list! I've battled my weight my entire adult life. I have PCOS and just turned 40 - so I'm looking for my metabolism! LOL I would like to lose about 45 pounds. I've done it before but unfortunately, due to 2 surgeries in 2007, it has all crept back on. During the day, I work for a Cancer Center. While that can be a bit sad, I truly feel it's an honor to serve my patients everyday. In an effort to support them, I will be walking in an 18 mile walk in Sept. Another great reason to get into better shape!
I'm finding it can be difficult to put yourself on the list after being off for such a long time....but, because I know this is a journey, I am simply vowing to do my very best everyday to get in some exercise and to write log everything that hits my lips!
I would love to develop a support system on here. Thanks to all in advance for your wisdom and support
Blessings!
