Hi, I'm new

I heard about this site from some friends and joined. I think this is the kick in the butt to get me going. I'm actually excited about trying to lose weight. (again)

I was pumped full of steriods when my lupus and asthma were bad. I gained a pound a week. It was awfull. Now the weather is nice, I love taking the dogs for a walk, hiking in the woods, puttsing in the yard, and biking. My three sons are amazing and I really want to be able to keep up with them.

I'm in Michigan and would love to find out who else here is from the great lakes state. :)
