Looking for a recipe for a breakfast shake. High in protien and low in sugar and carbs...any ideas?

    I use 1 cup 1% milk, 1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt, 1 scoop of protein powder, and some splenda since I use unflavored powder and it tastes like....well I don't know, I've never tasted anything else comparably disgusting. :laugh: Flavored powder is much better, but I can't digest whey very well.

    Where do you get your unflavored protein powder? I have recipes that call for protein powder to go into soups! I couldn't imagine the chocolate or vanilla working well with that.

    I found mine at Kroger...I get Vegge Power, which is soy protein. They also have unflavored vegetable protein..I have no idea how they get so much protein into it LOL, but they do. It's sort of expensive, but since it's so yucky I use it sparingly, just when I'm really low on protein for the day.
