Hi Peeps, I adapted a recipe from Philadelphia Cream Cheese cookbook for Cherries in the snow. I call this one Snow Dessert. Yummy! ( The original has canned cherries on top, yummy, but fattening!)

Here it is.

4 oz. cream cheese ( I used 1/3 less fat)
6 packets Splenda
1 cup Cool Whip

Mix CC and splenda, add cool whip. Refrigerate a bit, Enjoy!

Makes 4 servings at 95 calories. (I ate two servings! ) shhhhh... : )

Cool Whip is a yummy topping for desserts.
  • Yikes! I don't mean to put a damper on things but all of those ingredients are terrible for you even if they are low cal.

    I would have to agree-

why not try 4 ounces of Fage 0% greek yogurt, some fresh berries and if needs to be a lil sweeter throw a lil squirt of Agave nectar or dark chocolate pieces on top. Your body will thank you for it later! ;)

if you like that you should try this....

1 container of sugar free cool whip, mix in a half packet or so of sugar free fat free chocolate pudding... and freeze it! It's (almost) like ice cream!

You can make your dessert however you like, but I LOVE this treat. You can use Stevia plus for a natural sweetener if you like. I personally don't think fats are bad for you in moderation, so I'll stick with cream cheese and nothing else tastes as good! : )

Thanks for the other ideas pals!!!

I agree! I'll have to try it out for sure! I'm imagining it to taste a bit like a fluffy cream cheese filling right now. If I had the spare calories I wanted to spend I'd try some tonight. I have all the ingredients. lol

    Yum, sounds good!

I actually mixed some chocolate protein powder into some FF cool whip the other day. It was a bit grainy but delicious and exactly what I was craving. In fact, I didn't eat the whole portion I mixed up because it satisfied me.
