Tuna is awesome, one of my favorites. Good protein, omega-3s, low fat. You can put it on salads, sandwiches, and crackers.

Agreed!!! I love tuna! It's delicious and nutritious! Great source of protein (so if you want to gain muscle...this is a good food)

Whoever said it's bad for you, it's cause they might drown it in mayonnaise :(

Tuna has a mercury issue, which is why they say pregnant women should limit their intake. It is a great fish but in high consumption, can cause issues. Google tuna and how often to eat it per week. You do the research and figure out what's right for you.

Tuna contains more mercury than some other fish, but unless you're a pregnant woman I doubt you could eat enough to cause problems.

Tuna is very high in an organic, water soluble form of mercury that gets stored in the body, mainly in the brain. It does not get flushed from the body. You need to limit your exposure to this form of mercury. In addition to the mercury content, the tuna cans are lined with BPA which causes all sorts of health problems, from cancer to neurological problems to reproductive problems. Tests have shown that canned tuna contains extremely high levels of BPA.
