Newcomer, in my 2nd week

Just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself - I'm 38 and married, and my wife and I are both on MFP to lose weight (she's jazzhottie on MFP). She's lost 32 pounds, and I lost 6 in my first week.

Anyway, we're both just trying to lose our "happy fat" - our first 5 years of marriage saw us at home a lot, eating ALOT :) Food is something we've used in the past to celebrate, improve a bad mood, or simply for the serotonin/dopamine fix we get.

We're trying to adjust our thinking, since food is simply a requirement for life - it doesn't always have to be a grand occasion and filled with carbs/fats - and for me, it doesn't always have to be steak :)
