Calorie Burn

At what point do log what is on your HR monitor? I log my number as soon as I finish working out. Sometimes I keep it running for another hour JUST to see my after-workout burn.

I would say to log your calories burned, when your heart rate finally slows. Because as long as your heart rate is elevated it means your body is still burning calories, so once it drops below 100bpm log it then..

As soon as I complete my workout. If you don't have an HRM that is meant to be worn all day, it won't give you an accurate count of calories burned when you're not doing an aerobic exercise (such as the hour after working out). I wouldn't rely on that number at all.

I start the HRM after the warm-up and stop it before the cool-down, then I log the calories burned.
