SO I know buying the dried beans and making your own is WAAY Better, I just haven't had the time, to do it, and I have never done it, so I need the time.

So until then I buy the reduced sodium canned beans, and if they don't have the reduced sodium canned beans, i buy the regular and rinse them off...

My question is this... By rinsing them off I am getting rid of quite a bit of sodim right? I know some soaks into the beans, but for the most part, the slimy liquid being rinsed off gets rid of some sodium right?

Rinsing them does reduce the sodium, but they definitely retain some of it. There's a website www.5dollardinners.com and she says you can soak your own beans and then freeze them so they're ready to go when you need them, as opposed to either spending all of that time to soak a small batch or soaking a whole bag and getting annoyed with eating the same thing all week!!

I'm a big fan of buying the dried beans and I'm pretty lazy when it comes to cooking. I just soak them the day before and they're ready to go the next day. I'll have to try the freezing technique that mbcarreno08 mentioned; sounds like a good idea.
