3 things that have helped me: 1) change your activity level from sedentary to lightly active (this also means you'll be eating more) 2) exercise more and 3) calorie cycle. I change my loss goal daily (so Monday it'll be .5lbs a week, then Tuesday 1lb, Wednesday 1.5lbs, Thursday 1lb, Friday 2lbs, Saturday .5lbs, Sunday 1lbs). I went from losing nothing one week to losing 2.5lbs in 5 days.

Slow down, take a few days off...start again....in other words...change your routine!

http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm This has a calorie zigzagging plan that I love. I am down to my last few lbs, and I was stuck, gave this a try, and I have lost 1.5 lbs this week. Hope it helps!

    Hi
How many caolries are you eating on average a day?
the reason I ask is if you don't eat enough your weight loss can slow down.
Also by eating smaller amouts regular can help boost your metabolisim

When you hit a plateau it means your body is used to what activity you are doing, change it up with more intensity! Make sure you keep eating clean and healthy as well! Push more intensely and go further!!

I'm glad you asked that. I too thought there was really not enough information provided to really offer advice. That's why I posted the link, so OP could read it and decide what applied.

cheat.... I know it sounds counter-productive, but IF you can handle it, and know that you can go back....CHEAT. I have hit shorter plateaus several time in the last 3 months, and the solution everytime has been cheating. I will pick one day, or a portion thereof, and eat much less good for me foods. Last time, I hadn't lost anything in 8 days, so I was at a barbeque and had a hot dog, some potato salad, regular salad dressing, four regular beers, and a peice of white bread.... I went up 1 pound initially, but then after hitting the diet again hard, I lost 5 pounds throughout the following week.... Most of the new diet plans now, tell you to cheat, staying under control though, for one day at least each month... check it out online to verify.

Most important is mix it up. zig zag meals and types of working out. you can't let your body get use to the process. drink lots of water, eat less fat and sugar. reduce sodium.

why ask for help if ur diary is private? I cant give advice if i dont see how much ur eating, or not eating, and how much u r excercising, etc... Are you making sure your NET calories match your daily calorie goal? If you are suppose to eat 1400calories a day, and then excercise for 500 calories, its like youve only eaten 900 calories that day, when your suppose to have 1400.. u could be in starvation mode??

If your eating your excercise calories back, then try changing things up... Also look for anything that might be different. I too have been in a two week plateu... I couldnt figure it out, id loose half a pound, then the next day be up a pound, the go down a half pound, and back up a couple ounces, and then eventually loose weight from my starting number, its been really frustrating. Ive been so discouraged cuz i know ive done everything right... but today, i think i have figured it out!!! About 3 weeks ago I finally got the hang of my sodium level always being below the 2500, sometimes below 2000mg, somedays, on good days, like 1500... before, i was ALWAYS over on sodium, almost everyday, but i was averaging 4pounds a week lose, so lowering sodium was just a health thing, something i thought would help me loose better and be healthier... well... yesterday i nearly doubled my sodium, i had like 4500mg of sodium instead of the recommended 2500; and seeing as i was 100calories over i knew i wouldnt loose anything today.. but i got on the scale, and nearly lost an entire pound.. I am going to try to have more sodium over the next couple days to see if

So if your eating right, excercising right, eating your calories, etc, think of what may have changed for you. If nothing has changed for you, try what other people are suggesting, try some zig zagging of calories, etc.

The most common reason i see people plateu is because they are not eating enough. 1200 NET calories is the minimum u want to see.

Thank you everyone for your advice. I have been eating between 1200-1500 calories a day. And have to be honest, not getting in the exercise I need! I am going to start that this weekend. I will let you all know if it gets me going!! LOL
