Veggie Dippers

What vegetables do you use as dippers, other than baby carrots and celery sticks? I'm getting a little bored with those two...

    Green beans, sugar snap peas, peppers, cucumbers, endive leaves, grape tomatoes, radishes......

    It's a little odd, but slice up a cucumber and put salsa on it. It's really good, and super low in calories.

    Cucumbers. I prefer fruit though, I get the apple/caramel dippers at Walmart that are 100 calories.

    Jicama, which I recently found out is supposed to be called "yam bean" in English.

    It looks like a large root vegetable, but it is pretty much a tasteless radish in texture.

    In Mexico, it is served with lime, salt and chile, but since it doesn't really have its own flavor, it works well for dips.

    Sugar snap peas, celery, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, and my FAVE is sliced yellow bell peppers

    My husband and I cut some up with dinner almost everyday :)

    It's also fun to cut you veggies up differently... slices, spears, thin, thick, cubed! Have fun with it! :bigsmile:

    All colors of bell peppers.... sugar snap peas (just tried these raw as a dipper, for the first time last wk and LOVE them!)

    also cauliflower, broccoli, snap peas, grape tomates, cucumbers, edename, carrots, jicima, bell peppers
    I like them with hummus!!
