Looking to start this for people currently starting or have interest in starting Jillian's Ripped in 30! If you would like to enter your starting weight and/or measurements feel free.
I'm NOT keeping a log of this - just trying to get a group of people starting this DVD at or about the same time!!! :happy:

I'm IN! I have the DVD and hae done level 1 a few times but I really want to complete 30 days of it before I visit my mom in Florida next month. I am going to start again tomorrow morning. I'll check back in after I complete what I will call week 10

Woke up this morning and did the video first thing. I like all the moves except running man. I don't think I'm coordinated enough yet and by the second set I found myself out of breath and hard to keep up. All the other moves I really enjoy, Some of the strength moves don't seem to do much for me. Maybe it's because I did shred first and completed all 30 days. I'm sure the next week or the week after I won't be complaining they are too easy.0 -
slept in this morning so didn't get it in before work:( the back of my legs are a little tight. YES those running mans are too funny!! I was cracking up at myself, i felt like a *kitten*!! And the second set seemed to go on for 10 minutes!! Ya, some of the strength moves I would have to grab the 10lb weight b/c it didn't feel like anything when i just had the 5 in my hand.
@ becka- wish i could make you a copy & mail it to you!!?? my luck i'll get hunted down by jillian and go to jail!! LOL

i plan to do it tomorrow b/c i have a wedding saturday night- but i may not be able to check back in until sunday or monday...0 -

It's a region thing. I can get it, but I don't think it will work on my machine. It will on my computer, but er, there's not enough room to swing a cat up here, let alone weights!
I'm trying to picture you both doing the running man -too funny! (I'm guessing it's the cheesy dance move type thing where you look as though you're running on the spot / moonwalking on the spot?) Whatever...it tickles me!
I did 6w6p today, actually enjoyed it (last week I hated it!), it's the side plank thingys at the end...kills me!0 -

so I figured since I took last week off with my back ache I would just start all over. So week 1 day 2 was today. I'm sore but not too sore. My butt hurts a lot but besides that I'm good. I didn't do the last ab exercise either day. It hurts too much when I put my legs up in the air. I did regular crunches for the whole minute instead. I have 4 weeks till I leave for Florida so I really want to complete this DVD before that. I plan on doing 5 days of each level..starting yesterday I'm going to stick to this plan and hope my back doesn't get hurt again. I will try to log each day or at least every couple days.0

Glad to hear your back at it!! I was able to get in Saturday, MOnday & today. just so hard to do everyday- but i know the results would be AMAZING!! Have you ever tried to follow the "diet" plan that comes with it?? I just printed all the pages today & will browse over the receipes.
Mostly I can feel the back of my legs are really tightening up! which i'm getting excited for b/c i haven't felt comfortable in shorts in XX years!!! Maybe this year i'll bust out some daisy dukes- HOLY ****- i'm totally kidding!!!! LMAO!
Ok, so lets stick with it & you'll be awesome for FL & i'll be ready to get fitted for a friends wedding that I need to get measured for by end of june!!!

I love that Motto!!! It's not on my page but it should be. hahaha.. I feel a ton better once my workout is complete...it's getting started I still really struggle with.
I can feel it in the back of my legs too and one side of my butt. lol. I must be working it harder than the other side... Whatever as long the whole thing shrinks I'll be happy. My back has started to hurt a little more yesterday and today but I still did the video and will do it again tomorrow. I would like to do it Saturday and maybe take Sunday off and then go to week 2 on Monday, but I'm going to see how my back is feeling.
I have really felt great this week. I'm down 2 more lbs this morning but I'm not logging it. I want to make sure it stays down before i log it. My eating has been fantaastic too. I looked at her diet plan quickly but havn't followed it. I think i might print it out this weekend too and see if it's really something I can follow and my family can too. I hate having to cook more than 1 meal at a time...
I can't wait to see the results after 4 weeks with this video. I know I won't be "ripped" but if I can drop a size or two I'll be a happy girl.0 -
take it easy on your back!! you don't want to overdue yourself and get another injury.
I am NOT a cook, i don't even know half of the ingredients- but some of the snack & breakfast ideas are (look) easy. some of the lunch stuff I may attempt to make for dinner- i am a little "special" when it comes to trying to make a dinner or follow a recipe!!
congrats on the loss- your funny that you don't want to log it yet!! I get all excited and log it, then the next day it goes back up (but of course i don't log that!!!) Tomorrow is weigh in day for me...i'm not too sure on this- i have had a bad week of eating. Hope to make better choices today!?!?!
I did get it in this morning- not sure if i should move onto level 2 tomorrow or not? still pondering since i've done level 1 7 times in two weeks?!
now work on the other side of that *kitten*!! LMAO Keep up the great work!!0 -
after doing level one for 7 days over two weeks- i moved myself to level 2- holy *kitten*!!!! its VERY difficult but motivating to keep moving forward!! Not sure I can count this really as a completed day of level 2 b/c most of the time i was saying "are you frickin serious?!?!?" Some moves are a joke!!!

Okay I was just about to come and say the same thing about level two. Are you kidding me? She wants me to bend my knee into my elbow all while doing a push up? I don't think my body twist like that. I didn't feel like my knee was anywhere close to me elbow. And that ab move where you are on your butt and your arms are out to your side and then you lift your butt out and bring it back...yeah I don't think my arms are long enough to do that move correctly. lol. At least that's how I feel right now.
Even though I didn't feel like I was doing all the moves properly I do feel it after 2 days of level 2. My arms hurt today which to me is a sign it's working.
Hope you had a great weekend. It was beautiful here. Nice weather and even got to the beach yesterday for a little sun. I induldged a little too much with the food but will make up for it by eating really well this week.
