weighing in

When do you guys weigh in and why? I've been weighing in on Monday mornings because I think it will make me behave over the weekend because I know the scale is looming.

What do you guys think?

    Saturday mornings- that way I can have a treat that day if I reach a mini goal. Weigh in after I use the bathroom and I also don't wear anything- make sure you keep your weigh in's consistant!

    Wednesday morn....I started Wednesday - so Wednesday it is.

    Thursdays. But I'm thinking about switching to what you're doing because I'm bad on the weekends and try to make up for it during the week. Ugh. lol.

    I weigh myself daily. Keeps me in check for the day!

    I think Monday morning is the best day to keep you accountable over the weekend. I used to do Fridays but my weight would always change by Monday cause I'd be too carefree on the weekends. Going back to Mondays.

    I weigh in Thursday morning. I used to weigh in on Tues mornings but for some reason I lose alot more between Tues and Thurs. Also its my cheat day since my Dad comes out and takes me and my daughter out to dinner on Thursdays :)

    Monday & Thursday evening after I exercise and have dinner.

    Not sure why I started at those times, but now I continue them for consistency. Or habit. Maybe it's both.

    My official weigh in day is Friday when I log.

    I do however weigh myself almost ever day in the morning when I get up and before I go to bed in the evening to just be accountable of my fluctuations throughout the day and to make sure I'm staying on track. That won't work for everyone, but it does for me. You have to find what works best for you! :flowerforyou:

    Oh, and I agree with the PP, keep it consistent. For example, in the morning, I go to the bathroom then weigh without clothes.

    Ditto. Although I use to do Monday morning to make myself accountable over the weekend. It really doesn't matter since I weigh in every day - first thing in the morning after I go to the bathroom, naked.

    I don't have a regular day to weigh in but after reading all of these posts I will! When I'm consistent I was weighing myself everday but then I felt like I was being paranoid. Apparently I wasn't. Thanks mfp peeps for making me feel better about being paranoid lol!
