50 pounds!

Never thought I'd see the day again where I weigh as much as I did when I was 15, but here it is! Finally broke through the 130 barrier and have lost a total of 50 pounds on this long, long, long journey. I am posting this to recognize this as a milestone and feel proud about all that I have accomplished, even if it has taken a few years. Thank you, MFP, for your support during this last leg. 10 pounds to go!!!

Nice work!!! I know EXACTLY how you feel! In fact, I went shopping last weekend and I had to take a bunch of clothes back to the racks when I was trying stuff on because I got the wrong sizes. For whatever reason, I have it my heart I'm 2 sizes bigger than I actually am, it's so weird!!!

About the trying on clothes thing, shopping used to be just the biggest NIGHTMARE ever. It was especially impossible for me to find pants that fit. Now not only can I fit into something at every store, I'm wearing sizes 4-6, which was unfathomable even a year ago. Just goes to show that ignoring the frustrating and persevering really is the way to go. Stay positive, everyone!
