I just saw this post from slimkickin23
And it made me wonder if anyone else has any of these recipes that are delicious and taste indulgent but are really healthy alternatives?
Heres the inspiring post
"No joke this tastes JUST like alfredo sauce and its only 60 calories in THE WHOLE THING
1/2 head cauliflower (30 cal)
3 tbsp parmesan cheese (60 cal)
1 tbsp garlic
salt & pepper to taste
Cook cauliflower till its mushy. Throw everything into a blender and blend until smooth. Add water till its at the right consistency. Heat and serve over whole wheat pasta for a satisfying low cal dinner! "

dinner tonight salmon bake, had something similar at a resturaunt, slathered in butter and cheese, 1 4oz salmon fillet ontop of a big pile of asparagus spears, sauteed onions, bell peppers, celery and garlic mixed into dijon mustard and a little low fat cream cheese, slathered on top, sprinkle of fresh basil and chives, all wrapped up in parchment and baked, with a side of steamfresh red potatoes. all about four hundred calories, and probobly too much food to finish it all.0
