I have read a lot of people doing that couch to 5K challenge. It sounded like a good plan. I used to run a lot up until about 6 months ago, so I decided to see what I could do. My first day out was 3 miles (just under a 5K). So I decided to step it up a bit. I am doing a C2HM (Couch to Half Marathon).
It was about 3 weeks ago that I started up with MFP and getting things back on track. Today, after only 3 weeks of training, I am happy to report I ran 11 miles. 2-ish more miles until my goal! :)
I generally don't like to talk about myself, but I am just so happy that I had to tell somebody, and why not on a forum where we celebrate our victories.
Oh, and my running shoes are holding up like champs!

Way to go! I started C25K last fall and am now training for a half marathon as well.. I never was a runner to start with, so I had to start from scratch, but here I am today despite myself! Good luck!

WAY TO GO!!!! This is absolutely fabulous!! I do not know you, But I am so proud of you!!!!! Keep running, and running, and running!!! I love me some good Runnin shoes, so comfy, and it just somehow gives you that " i can do this" attitude when you slip them on your feet!!
