Hi- Well my stressful life finally caught up with me when I moved from Colorado to Arizona. I moved here and now have had to buy an entire new wardrobe! I am a stress eater- and I was eating out most meals. I am now on the right track. Exercising as much as possible and eating healthy, small meals. But, I am super frustrated- I want this weight off now! I only weighed this much when I was pregnant! Now, I have a Vegas trip in a month- talk about motivation! Hello everyone!!:smooched:

I am a native to Arizona too, currently live in East Mesa on the Mesa, Gilbert border..so to speak.

Definitely different wardrobe needs between CO and AZ, you won't even need your pants until November....at best! You will be very happy come November though, the weather is great from Mid october until May or Early June, plenty of time to be outside and be active!

    Welcome! :drinker:

I like it here so far. I don't know too many people- especially women. I am used to having close friends nearby, that has been part of my issue here!I

This is my weird story- I was a stay at home mom for 3 years. My ex husband and I have a 5 year old boy. My ex moved here about a year and a half ago for business. I moved here Memorial weekend so that our son could have us both close. My ex and I get along pretty well- for the most part. We actually work together-crazy huh?

So I have had a lot of changes.... that equals lots of bad food in my mouth!:noway:

Welcome! You will find a lot of support on this board. BTW, I live in N. Scottsdale. In another month, it will really cool off and the current humidity levels will plummet, which will make it nice for walking outside. I'm looking forward to it myself!

Welcome, Kallio, from another AZ resident. The people and tools on this site are terrific and will definitely work if you have realistic expectations. It took 3 months to put it on and might take just as long to get it off again, but you can do it!

ps - I'm a west sider in Phoenix. Good luck to you!!
