What happens when you eat more protein than you're alloted? I'm only over by one but am not sure the consequences, or if there are any. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Please and thank you! :-)

That's fine. If you have kidney troubles it could cause a problem, but otherwise it should wash out easily enough.
Protein is set a little low in the settings, I think, especially if you're trying for a lean protein with each meal.0 -
I actually changed my goals to allow more protein and less carbs. I don't always do that great at being under carbs and reaching my protein goal, but I try!0

unless you have medical problems, it isn't an issue. In fact, many people feel more satiated with a higher protein diet.0

MFP sets protein and fiber too low. I have mine set to 30% protein to support my strength training routines.
Going over could actually be good for you. Especially if you're active.0 -
I try to eat my weigh in protein.0
