    DUDE.

Or as Super Grover from Sesame Street would say: "HUBBA-WHA?!" (sorry, can't resist, he cracks me up)

I'm thinking the SEWING IT TO YOUR TONGUE part would be painful enough. I wouldn't even want to eat. *Head-desk*

seems reasonable. not for the average person. but lap band and gastric bypass are more invasive and force you to be on a liquid diet. maybe for those types of patients who have 100+ pounds to lose, this would be an option. i bet recovery is faser, the procedure is cheaper and it can be reversed easier than gastric and lapband.

Soooo... let me get this straight.. No working out and no dieting wanted, so they sew a patch on their tongue?

Yea, next thing you know they will be putting that steak in the blender... then what?

Holy cow! One word: OUCH! It is crazy what some people will do to lose weight the unhealthy way. I'm glad that's not the way of us, MFPers.

. . . I have no words. . . other than wanting to slap that chick around for being too lazy to commit to a healthy lifestyle. Seriously, it isn't that hard to say I think I'll have a salad instead of 20 tacos or burgers. GAHHHHHH! :headdesk:

I don't know if they would eat everything that they see... the memories of trying to eat the food (wich they would because honestly thirty days?) being uber painful... would probably turn me off from solids for quite a while! lol.

Good gravy! That is ridiculous. Pure and simple. I cannot make it liquids alone. I'm sure there's a cheaper method to this idiotic movement. Have your teeth removed. Actually, I don't know if that's cheaper or not. Either way, it's foolish.

Indeed, it would probably be one of those things where the pain caused their stomach to hurt and, thus, they won't want to eat such foods. Theoretically. I have a feeling that would, typically, only last for a little while. And for those whom it lasted longer, well ... I would have great pity for them.

It's a Pavlovian response. Except, you know, the opposite of the original experiment.
