How is it that I've been at a plateau for 2 months (stuck at exactly 149.6 for 2 months). I've lost no inches, my body fat has not decreased but still my clothes are bigger for me than they were?
Someone please explain?

what are you quick add calories?????? when you do that you really don't get a true count of what you are doing. and from time to time you leave a ton of calories on the board so you have put your body into starvation mode so it's going to hold onto every oz of fat that passes your mouth.0

The quick calories are always the same foods that I usually eat it's just that sometimes I'm short of time to add them one by one. My usual foods are veggies, salmon, chicken tuna, the occasional granola bar, fruit0 -
First - for the quick add calories, take the time to enter those in ONCE as a personalized meal. That way the next time you eat that same combo of food, you can just enter it in as your meal. For example, every day, I have a nutritional shake that I mix one scoop of Shakeology with 1/2 a banana, some frozen blueberries, and frozen strawberries, and milk. I put that in under the heading of "Mel's Chocolate Shakeology" so every morning I only have to choose that one meal and MFP will enter in all of the ingredients for me.
Second - I will share my personal experience which I know has happened to countless others as well - I started working out with P90X when everything else had failed to help me lose weight. In the 1st month, I lost weight but then my weightloss stopped. After doing some research on WHY that was happening, I realized that I was not taking in enough calories. So, not only did I increase the # of calories/day I was eating, but I also transitioned my diet to more "clean" foods. By doing this, my weight loss started up again. I have lost 28 pounds and have been able to maintain my new weight. I attribute a good portion of that success to my nutritional habits. Most of what I did, I did over an 8-week period following a simple set of guidelines on what changes to make every week so that I wouldn't be overwhelmed by the changes.
What used to seem like a "secret" that I could never quite grasp has become a simple way of life for me. If you need more specific details let me know.
Hope that helps!

Thank you so much for for your detailed response. I'd be interested to 'talk' a little more with you and get some of your ideas - I'll send a friend request if that's ok.
