Has anyone ever tried the weight loss plans put out by magazines like Self and Fitness (i.e. "The Self Challenge")? Have you had any significant results from them? They always promise that you'll "lose ten pounds in a month," but the calories seem too high and the workouts seem too easy.
I always follow these programs for like a week and then get incredibly bored. I'm just curious if I stick with it, will it be worth it?

I agree. I've never followed them for longer than a day or two. But I'm finding I'm not a person that can stick to one set plan day by day...workout or eating. I get to bored! And following workouts from a book or magazine have always seemed difficult for me as well. But that's just me.0
