I have been scanning the forums. And I am simultaneously really pumped (since you guys are doing -- I have faith that I can do it too!) but the end result seems SO FAR AWAY. So I'm actually a little bit in a funk at the moment.

BLEH! Help :(

I am right there with you! I get really motivated when reading and seeing the photos but then I look at myself in the mirror and think I will never make it! I just really started getting serious this week so I have a loooong way to go. Keep with it and let's get through this together!!

Yes! don't compare but use those photos to encourage yourself, that is what I am doing. I know I have a ways to go but persistence pays! Keep going fitness pals :)

It's so much easier to see the change in other people but not in yourself. I look in the mirror and she the same person I saw 30 lbs ago.

If you do nothing about it today then tomorrow you will still be just as far away from your goal. In 6 months if you've done nothing about it then you won't be 6 months closer to your goal, and you'll be kicking yourself that you didn't start today.

The time is going to pass regardless of how you spend it. So, keep making choices to get healthier and more fit everyday. Then six months or a year from now you will look back and be happy and proud of your progress. It didn't happen overnight for anyone; we all have to live it one day at a time.
