MY NSV

My NSV is very different from others. I have lost 67 pounds so far, with another 80 something to go but whos counting. LOL The last time I lost weight I reached a point where I wasnt losing any more and instead of trying new things to jump start it again, I got discouraged and gave up. This time I am not letting it get me down. I have tried to gain more knowledge about weight loss and I feel like I have learned a whole lot since then. I am going to continue on with my journey, knowing that if I am doing all the right things the weight loss may temporarily stop but it will start back again. Instead of complaining about not having friends with the same goals, I am doing something about it by looking for friends with the goals I have. On MFP I have made some wonderful friends. I have also decided to start a local support group to meet with others in my area who are struggling with their weight. I hope that some of the things I have faced will help me know how to help others. Thank you all MFP's for sharing with us, you all make every day easier for me and thanks also for listening to my ramblings. :happy:

In the past i have always given up at this point since weight loss is so very difficult for me with PCOS.

I am not giving up. I am staying focussed as hard as it is and I use the support of this site everyday!!

BTW, just looked at your profile, I'm very familiar with Collins. I went to JCJC and lived with some friends on the Jones County side of hwy 588. Nice to meet you!
