Hey guys,

So it's going on a month of me really concentrating on my weight loss. I started when I realized I had 2 months until my birthday. I've been going to the gym since Jan, but did skip a week or days here and there and i was not logging as much as I should. Well in the past month I have been going to the gym 3-4 times a week if not more, i have been watching my caloric intake and I havent been drinking (which is huge for me). I noticed a few days ago i had lost "4 pounds" but t hen the other day it was something else. I know these things happen and I am promising myself to stick with it but this is usually the point where I want to give up. I've been sweating (sweat and relaxed hair do not mix), sore and controlling (not depriving) myself for weeks and it would be nice to see myself in the 170's for more than a day.

I'm interested in trying something new if you guys have any ideas. I'm going to try to up my protein and maybe try raw foods this up comming week. What do you guys think?

xoxo
Tash

Protein is right. I have 1 gram of protein per pound I weigh. Cut back on the fruit a little, and focus on veggies like broccoli, spinach, asparagus, and celery.

Try to get at least 30 grams of protein in within one hour of waking up, this gives your metabolism a jump start for the day. Eggs are an easy way to get this done.

I was more asking if you are lifting weights vs. doing cardio. I would always assume you are doing cardio :)

I was just reading some posts that said you don't have to work out to lose, so if you are feeling discouraged about working out and I uderstand the hair thing, maybe just concentrate on eating good healthy food and counting calories and then maybe workout on the weekends or not.

I was implying that I do both...I would say more cardio than lifting but i think it ends up being about the same some weeks. I gotta keep my guns up lol
