In my recipes, if you would like it, but it is super easy. Blend your frozen banana with a couple of tablespoons of milk. You could add vanilla or peanut butter or even chocolate if you want. I love this recipe! Super yummy!0

The smidgen of fat in bananas makes a magic trick when they are frozen and blended up. They turn creamy instead of crumbly, with a smooth texture any home ice cream chef would love to have in their frozen treats.
Here's a step-by-step slideshow of how to do it. The major tips can be summed up as:
• Peel your bananas first.
• Cut them into small pieces.
• Freeze for just 1-2 hours on a plate.
• Blend, blend, blend - scraping down the bowl when they stick.
• Enjoy the magic moment when they turn into ice cream!0 -
I just made this and am FREAKING OUT IT'S SO GOOD. Unreal. You can read about my adventure here, as well as ways to make this extra special. http://anniecooks.posterous.com/one-ingredient-ice-cream-for-realsies
PS: first post here. Thanks for having me.0 -
Yeah I made this today as well...the texture is definitely like soft serve! I had to add a bit of water to help it along (maybe a teaspoon at the most) and after it turned creamy I added a teaspoon of maple syrup and roughly 1/2 tbsp of peanut butter. I would add vanilla next time as well. It was amazing, nutritious and the consistency and texture was PERFECT! Everyone should try this!!!0
