Whens the best time 2 exercise to burn the most calories, before or after breakfast ?

  • Whatever works best for you. Here's what works for me. I can't exercise on a full stomach so I eat like half a banana in the morning and then go running. When I get back I eat breakfast.

    I have half an hour or so boxing on the kinect before I have breakfast makes me hungry so actually want to eat
  • Well it depends a little but the basics are your body can only get energy from 3 places your stomach your fat reserves and your muscle. If your stomach does not provide enuff it will use its fat reserves and if still in need it will canibalize your muscle.

    I always force my body to use the fat reserves for about 75-50% orso so if I do a 60min workout witch atm burns around 800-850 calories I will eat a 200-400 calorie breakfast. At least that works for me, just my 2 cents ^^
  • I work out before I eat. I was told that your body will get its fuel from the stored fat. I drink a glass of water and maybe eat a couple of crackers and then run my three miles, shower then grab my coffee and oatmeal.
