I have been overweight my whole life, of course I have had ups and downs my I hit my highest weight or lowest point in April of 2010 I have slowly made changes and have lost 42 pounds but am ready to kick it up a few notches! I am a mom of 2 girls one who is extremely fit and has a goal of becoming a P.E. teacher and one who is starting to take on my bad habits. I have recently gone back to school and this site is part of our class but will probably stick with it for my own tracking, my goal is to be at a healthy weight by graduation and one day hope to provide nutrition and fitness counseling to others. I never really took the time to understand nutrition and fitness when I was younger, and now especially with one of my daughters starting to "pudge" out, I have taken it on full force, I am not interested in dieting, I am interested in changing my life, I am doing my best to make positive healthy choices for me and my family, some days is harder than others, and then there are those where I just give up completely! I have come to the mindset though that there is always tomorrow, just because I ate something unhealthy or was lazy today does not give me an excuse to do it again tomorrow, I no longer beat myself up over the occasional slip up, occasional slip ups is not what landed me in this position, it was an overall unhealthy lifestyle
