Just saying hi, I've been off here for awhile. I've been going through crisis after crisis, and lost my motivation. I finally got back on track, and to date have lost 54 pounds. I joined Weight Watchers simply for the accountability. I joined a gym to get myself into shape, and to speed things up. I'm not overdoing it...I took a day off today...but the more I lose, the more motivated I'm becoming. I started at 279 ( I'm 5'4"...not a good height for that weight) ( there actually is no good height for that weight...lol), and I now weigh 225. Still a long way to go, but I'm getting there. I drink a lot of water, and rediscovered vegetables. I also am a potato chip junkie, and haven't had one in months. I lied...I craved some about a month ago, so I bought a small bag of Lay's baked chips. Pretty good, but when I calculated how many WW points it contained, it wasn't worth it. I'll grab some pretzel bites if I need that salty crunch. I finally feel as if I'm getting somewhere, and it feels good.

Sounds like you are back on track! You can make it happen and find the weight that goes with that height!
