Hello everyone....I'm Toni from SC. I'm 31 years old. I'm a proud Army wife with a deployed husband...He's been gone 7 months now; only 8 more to go. We are stationed in Germany, but I'm in SC with my family until the end of the deployment. I have 3 kids and 3 step kids...not all in the same house. I have a weight loss goal of about 35lb...I was hoping to get it off by the time my Hubby got back, but I guess I should ahve started earlier. It's been hard getting motivated. I hope that I can use this site to help meet new friends and stay motivated. I have myspace if anyone wants to add me and get to know me a little better. www.myspace.com/icequuen603.

Hope to hear from you all soon!! Good Luck to you all!!

Welcome! You can easily lose 35 pounds in 8 months. If you set up your goals for a 2 pound per week loss, then you'll be done in about half that time. Even at one pound per week, you should still pretty much meet your deadline. Good luck!

He's right; have some fun with that "complete today's entry" button and see what happens "if every day was like today..." .. !!

It's amazing how mental it becomes ... "I'll never be .... pounds again.." but then when you look at it as just math (calories in, calories out) it's really possible, and not at all that hard when you've taken the guesswork out of it. You can totally do it !! I figured I'd try it for six months, take it sort of easy and see if I could lose ten REAL pounds to get to my ideal weight, and just three months in I'm down 15 (I went for extra because, well, why not, I feel great !!) and it wasn't even hard -- !!! Good luck and God bless.
