Always weigh yourself on the same scales at the same time of day, you weight can go up and down different times of the day, i always weigh in the morning once a week on my scales at home, i went to my friends one afternoon and her scales said i was 2lb heavier, so i ignored that one lol0

Always weigh yourself with the same scale, and at the same time of day - and in same condition (in PJs, naked, whatever...)
That way, you will get consistent results - for all you know, your scales or your friends scales could be faulty!
Plus, it helps if the scales are placed on a hard surface - not carpet.0
