That the first weeks of weight loss is mainly loss of water weight? So far in my first month, I've lost 5 pounds but I noticed I lost inches too! Anyway. I'll be entering my second month, will it be different? Would the weight I lose will actually be fat? Btw, share any experience you had in your second month and on. Thanks :-)

People do tend to lose some water weight in the first week to ten days, yes. But the fact that you've kept on losing should be telling you that you are not only losing water at this point!

I've been here nearly 3 months and I'm still steadily losing!

I've been here 1 1/2 months and have lost almost 10 pounds. I really started losing these last 2 weeks though.

I've been on here over a year and still losing...just a LOT slower! I'm sure in the beginning it is at least partly water weight...but still motivating to see that number go down! Good luck!

I don't know if everyone's losing water weight, but I've lost SO MUCH of it because I stopped eating as much soduim as I did before, so during the first days you were probably losing water weight. However you wrote you've lost inches, so I think that's not water anymore :)
    Congrats, btw. :D

That was fast!! Thanks for the response! I guess I am excited because I have been consistent for almost a month now! Can't wait until the end of the second month ;-)

I lost my first 25 fairly fast (within a month) and after that it slowed down (20 additional pounds in 3 months or so). But if you keep with it, it will continue. Good luck!!! :D
