HIghland Games and My Kilt :)

No, not the sparkle kilt, my *real* kilt. Aftger church today, we went to our St Andrews Society's annual potluck and Highland Games. I was actually a very good boy, and ate frugally (us Scots are known for that ya know ) and logged it all when I came home. :bigsmile:
After the food event, we had a piper play a few selections for us, and then we even had a fiddler play for the rest of the day!

The calories burned off came in our own form of Highland Games. Aye yup, I was wearing my glad rags, and tossing the rocks, and lumber around for a while! Ezzie even got a couple of pics, that I *might* post (as long as they don't look too horribly Before-ish :grumble: ) But I was wearing my HRM, and closked 1645 calories! Wooo hooo! :bigsmile:

There is a big fest here every year and we always try and make it! I like trying to figure out just where my husband's ancestry comes from. His name is known in both Ireland and Scotland, but I can never find the right colors.
