Fantastic! Running for charity gets addicting... I've only run one 10k but I've signed up for 3 more plus a 1/2 marathon. It's good to have some motivation.

A couple of tips for race day: don't let your nerves get to you. Start slow so you can keep your pace and not tire out half way. HAVE FUN!!!

Thankyou for the tip I think I would have thought I needed to go doolally at the begining and get tired
  • I started running in October last year and ran a half marathon in April this year for charity. Build up slowly to the distance and make sure you go at your own pace on the day - its very easy to be caught up in the atmosphere at the start line and go out too fast making the run uncomfortable. My top tip though is to enjoy it, running should be fun else whats the point loL! Good luck!!
