I kinda hate my new ipod nano (love the size, hate everything else about it) and I'm looking for a new MP3 player that will be good to workout with. Anyone have anything different that they would recommend? Thanks!

I have a Sanyo 2gb mp3 player and I love it! It's easy to use, and I can put pictures and things on it, but I prefer to just put music there. It's small and clips to my clothes. I've had it for almost 2 years now and its still working great. So I recommend it to all my friends/family. My kids both have one too and its durable because kids are tough on stuff. Hope that helps :-)

I had one by iRiver that I simply adored. But it's so old (although still working) that they haven't updated the software for it that makes it talk to my computer. I do still use it as a radio for workouts, but I'm a wee bit tired of the music that's been on there forever.

So I grabbed an iPod Shuffle last week when they were on sale at Target (actually, today is the last day of that sale) and have been pleasantly surprised.

I use a 2 gb Ipod shuffle.... cheap and expendable, in case I drop a dumbbell on it.

    Sansa Fuze - http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Sansa-Fuze-Video-Player/dp/B0015L451I

I like it because it is pretty cheap, easy to use (buttons are a little awkward though), has a fm radio, has a voice recorder, and has a memory slot.
and of course i don't have to use itunes!!
it also supports video, but i've never went through the trouble of converting files.
you can also find arm bands, spare chargers, and cases for it for pretty cheap on amazon.

i've always had good customer service experience with sandisk.

Creative ZEN. Loved it though it was biggish. But I've since moved everything onto my Droid so I'm not carrying two things.
