Recently I've cut out most grains and all processed foods, and Ive found that I dont want them anymore. Yay! So that means so pasta, even quinoa pasta (which is better for you). Here is a quick recipe I concocted, its low cal, full of nutrition, satisfying and super tasty! I used to love pasta, so I started making this instead and the pasta sauce really makes it taste great.

Steam broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, zuccini, or whatever veggies you have on hand. Top them with pasta sauce (or with salsa if you love chips, I do!) pepper, italian seasoning, cayennye pepper, even curry powder. It really is satisfying and yummy, and its very low in calories, fat, and sugar. You can even add tofu or lean meat if you want some protein in there.

I steamed 2 cups of spinach last night with broccoli and green onions. Very filling and tasty. Enjoy!

You can use a vegetable peeler on asparagus or sweet potatoes to make ribbon "pasta" too.
