If not having a heart rate monitor, monitor your calories burned through heart rate during water breaks, count your heart rate for at least 10 seconds (preferably 30) than after the workout times numbers by 6 if counted for 10 seconds 2 if counted for 30.
Do it during each water break, after you have the final numbers add them together and divide by the amount you added. Then put your information into here : http://www.triathlontrainingblog.com/calculators/calories-burned-calculator-based-on-average-heart-rate/
look at comments to find your VO2 max.
so for example: 60 - 55 -70- 80 (30 second counts)
120 +110 + 140 +160 = 630
630/5 = 126 bpm (the average)
then plug that number into the site.0 -
I Love The Firm! I have 3 different Firm DVDs. I track them usually by putting in a combo of x minutes of calisthenics and x minutes of aerobics.
