 Guess you should have had a project like me. I'm helping my husband paint our house, so I'm burning lots of calories and not sitting around the house pigging out.
At least you know that the weekend WILL be ending, and then you can get right back on track!

I have to say, this is the first time for this holiday that I did not do anything. Eating wise. I worked out Friday, Saturday nad Sunday, ate very little and I feel great. Still healing from surgery, so I just didn't want to be around people. We were supposed to go to a cook out at the spur of the moment Sunday and we choose to watch drag racin' instead and eat left overs.

BLT's on whole wheat, Yum Yum!!!!
    Lean Ham Steak
Eggs with a few slices bacon and home made soy gravy, instead of the fatty greased up gravy
The only bad I had was two home made biscuits and one potato cake.

All in all, it'e been pretty quite on the home front

Tonight, I am going to have low carb chicken cutlett from Blain's low carb and a cesar salad.

You can still salvage the weekend.

Get a good workout in and eat some grilled chicken & veggies.

OR stay in bed till tomorrow.

  • I am sure the people in the path of Gustof will be glad when this holiday is over with. Hopefully there won't be as much damage as Katrina. GBWT.

Happily, it kinda started to disintegrate a bit just before it hit land. Katrina actually went up 2 levels when it hit! And thankfully, it made landfall west of Nawlins. But still prayers for all the people affected by the storm, and also all the volunteers there for relief efforts!
