Yep me and my Sister were both sleeved on 5/13 and we do not regret one thing. When the surgeon went in he found that we were wired the exact same way - weird I know - but no worries everything turned out fine! He did have us stay an additional day in the hospital but that was cool too. We wil be discharged today and off work for 2 weeks. We are moving like we used to move, no timid steps at all. We are flying around this floor of the hospital!! We even had a mini race:wink: !!! Just wanted to give you an update. Take care and I'll be posting again soon.

Maybe I'm a complete idiot, but I have no idea what you're talking about. What is sleeving?

If it's what I'm thinking of, it reduces the size of your stomach by 25%. Not sure who would want that, lol.

I had the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy [sp]. It was done with 3 incisions on my belly. 85% of my belly was removed, nothing was re-routed. Now my tummy looks like a banana but of course it's longer. I have to be on liquids for a few more days then I can go to soft foods for 2 weeks then onto regular foods but of course a smaller portion. I love it. it was smooth sailing for me and my sister.
