Ok, so I have a WW Digital Scale and a health-o-meter analog scale.

I'm finding the analog scale is always a bit less than the digital one and the WW, well Id step on it one time and it'll say 217 and then step on it again right away and it'll say 220. So really which one is more accurate? They were in the same spot on the floor and I would weight myself and the same time each day.

If you have weights at home, measure several to see which scale is most accurate. I say several because it's possible the weights aren't absolute. They should be relatively close though.

I have only an analog scale, supposedly a "doctor's" scale. I have the same problem with the weight varying. I also find that if I lean forward or backward on the scale, I can make the weight vary as much as 5 lbs. either way.

Time for a new scale, perhaps...? At the doctor's office, I always weigh 5 lbs. more than I do at home, so I try to record my weight using my own scale so the relative weights are OK.

Analog scales (yes even a your doctors office) have to be recalibrated and adjusted annually (at a minimum! most Drs offices do it ever 6-9 months) SO yes its very possible, also Analog scales SHOULD NOT BE MOVED. This causes their calibration to be thrown more rapidly, SO analog scales should nto be sotred in a cupboard, on its side, ect, they need a spot on your floor and to just STAY. That is part of why digital is more accurate and more popular

I would fill a bucket with a measured amount of water (1 kilo per litre) and see what they read...

I make sure to use only one at all times. i bought a brand new scale at the store when i started losing weight and only go by that. In the chance I had to go get weighed at the doctor, it was usually very close to my home scale.
