I just got home from the supermarket. As I was lugging in two heavy bags of groceries, I got curious about how much they weighed. I put them on the scale, and they were 16 lbs. That's just under the amount I've lost since joining MFP! It was great to have a visual representation of the weight I was carrying around a few weeks ago but am not anymore :)

It really makes you realise how hard you are making yourself work carrying all this extra

It really does put it into perspect! My 3 month old is 16 lbs... My arms get so tired when I have to carry him around... OMG. I can't wait until I've lost the same amount of weight as he weight while in his car seat! That thing is a pain to lug around!

Yes - that's it exactly. I get discouraged sometimes thinking of how much more I have to go. It was eye-opening today to see how much that 17 pounds really is!
