So I finally got a hrm. A cheap one $30 at Walmart. I have used it 2 days, and it it pretty close to the mfp calories burned. So can I trust it? During Taebo I check my heart rate 3 times and it was 150 and above. I am 29 and weigh 181 pounds and female. Does that sound right? I just dont want to overestimate, but I'm wondering if my weight loss has been slow due to underestimating calories burned, and overestimating my calories.

To know if it's correct, you need only take your pulse and see if you get the same results the HRM is reporting.0

Does the HRM you got have a chest strap?0

Does it have a chest strap? The ones without have very questionable accuracy...0

It has no chest strap, but Ive taken my pulse after doing taebo and it was 155. That just seems like a lot of calories.0
