Looking for the right tool

Hi,
I just signed up here and am debating between using this site or Livestrong (myfitnesspal, please excuse the mention) to track my progress. I am no longer obese, but want to get better defined, healthier, and generally just more fit. I am not in the military, but my goal is to be able to do well on a Military style fitness test.
So far I like the tools and layout of this site, but I am a little disappointed that I can't enter specific weights for some of the foods I eat. The options are predefined, where I would like to put in 150g, many of the foods are only adjustable in serving size, like 1 cup. That seems to be my only problem so far.
