I've lost 20 lbs since Jan I've got 20 more to go!

:smile:I gained 55 lbs with my first child who was born on Jan 27 2010. I didn't get serious about losing weight till he turned 1 and I still couldn't fit into my old jeans. Since Jan 2011 I have lost 27 lbs! I have 20 more to go to be where I want to be. I'm kinda getting off track a little...may need some encouragement to keep at it. I would love to make some friends on here! I've been using the site since Jan and I love it!:smile:

    That's ah-mazing! I gained 36 with my son, lost some, gained it back plus some and am in the process of losing.

    Congrats on the awesome loss!

    We all have bad days and good days - focus on the good! :)

    Great job chicka!!

    I'm kinda in the same boat, I gained a whopping 70lbs with my first child, lost a bit, had my second child, gained some more... had my third child, gained some more. lol you see how it goes.

    After my third child was born, I was floating around 200lbs, in January I started to really push myself, something "clicked" I guess you would say. Since Jan 5th 2011 I've lost 39lbs, with about 20 to go. My life has changed, I still have struggles, but I'm learining to control my bad food habits, and to make healthier choices. Also I love to work out, I've been doing Turbofire and Running. When I'm done my turbofire program in June I'm going to start actively training for a half marathon.

  • When I had my son I was at 235. When I started getting serious back in Jan I was 207. Now I'm 180! Which is what I was when I got pregnant. You look great for having 3 kids! Way to go!

    I gained 40 with my daughter and didn't start working on weight loss until January when she was 8 months old. I've lost 20 lbs since then with 15 to go to prepreg weight. I'd like to lose more than that eventually, but with #2 in the works soon I'll worry about that when we're done with the baby making :)
  • You should go ahead and get in the best shape you can. We will have another someday. I plan on staying at 1200 calories a day and working out even when I'm pregnant again. That way I'm not gaining more weight then baby weight. This trying to lose the baby weight is not easy! I don't wanna have to go through all of this again! :) I read that staying fit and healthy throughout your pregnancy makes for a easier labor and delivery. :smile: I sure hope thats true!

    Great job loosing that weight, just keep moving one step at a time and you'll make it through you have come so much further than most ever do, you rock! 
