Hey folks!

I'm always looking for new playlists of workout music (and music to skate to on Bout Day to get me AMPED UP). So what do you listen to during your intense workouts?? What song or artist have I not heard of that you love that has a phenominal tune to get your blood moving?

Some of my favorites for YOUR playlist:

"Spotlight" - MuteMath
"Wicked Little Girls" - Esthero (for the ladies)
"Fresh Blood" - The Eels
"Touched" - Vast
"Don't Ask Me" - OK Go!
"How You Like Me Now" - The Heavy (if you've seen the SUV commercial where the child's toys go to Vegas, the sock monkey gets a Mom Tattoo and the Yo Gabba Gabba alien rides a bull... that's THIS song)

If you need some new tunes in your rotations, LOOK THESE UP!!! I promise you won't be disappointed!! Now... what can I look up??

GO!!!

I love Superchick. They're a Christian rock band but not all their songs are about God. you should look them up. :)

Saint Rose--"Eyes Like Fire" ALWAYS gets me amped! (hard rock band out of Vegas area)

I listen to a lot of oldschool metal: Motley Crue, Firehouse, AC DC, Aerosmith, etc...not everyone's cuppa tea, but works for my workouts!

also a lot of punk--Tiger Army, Social Distortion, Time Again, The Briggs, Reno Divorce (local Denver band), Bad Religion...

I'm a HUGE music person and I love to dance. I just put together a new playlist yesterday and can't help but move around to it!

Lupe Fiasco - The Show Goes On - I like to put this one on to walk between classes. Keeps my pace up and sometimes I can't help but box-step n twirl if nobody's looking. lol! plus the lyrics are great. :)
Pitbull ft. Ne-yo, Afrojack, & Nayer - Give Me Everything - awesome dance beat
Usher - More - the percussion in this song is awesome! I love it.
Nicki Minaj & Drake - Moment 4 Life
Black Eyed Peas - Just Can't Get Enough
Nicki Minaj - Super Bass - not a very bassy song, but the upbeatness of it makes me wanna move.
Britney Spears - Till the World Ends - gonna dance till the world ends!
    Nicki Minaj - Last Chance
Nicki Minaj - Save Me -- In case you can't tell, I'm a hip hop junkie, and Nicki Minaj is inspiring, hilarious, exciting and something totally different. Love this woman! The lyrics touched me in this one but the bass is great.
Diddy - Coming Home - I enjoy singing with this one, and the beat is fun for walking to as well.
Diddy - Hello Good Morning --- This one we used in my cardio hip hop class in the mornings and it's great for starting up your day and getting you to move!
Usher - OMG -- another good one we had in that class.
LMFAO ft. Lauren Bennett - Party Rock Anthem
Chris Brown - Yeah 3X --- I can't help but move around to this one.
Usher - Spotlight --- My celebrity crush. I love love love Usher, and he's got some of the greatest get up and dance music out there.
    Lloyd - Get it Shawty
Mario - Skippin --- I love this song. Found it on So You Think You Can Dance? awhile back.
Nas ft. Keri Hilson - Hero

    Disturbed rocks for workouts!

My playlist has an ecclectic mix of heavy metal, current pop and 80's pop and funk.

So, I go from Disturbed to Jay Sean, to Katy Perry, to the Gap Band, to the Scorpions, to the O'Jays, to Nickelback, to Usher.......

When lifting weights it is usually all Death Metal; Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, Morbid Angel, etc. For cardio, I usually just switch Pandora on my iPod and do a Quick Mix of my stations.
