Sweetie, You are systematically starving yourself.
At 5 8 1/2" your goal of 103 is dangerously underweight?
And while you don't hear nearly as much about it there are much more severe health consequences to being underweight than being overweight. See llinks below (being obese has some pretty bad consequences too, but we hear more about that because more people are obese.)
124 lbs is a very close to the bottom of the healthy range a little too close for comfort for me. (123.5 lbs is rock bottom)
The amount of calories you need to eat everyday to maintain 123.5 lbs if you did nothing but rest all day long would be 1,372. To carry on "NORMAL DAILY ACTIVITIES" you need 1,710 calories.
So what you are calling a *binge* day is still below what you should be eating EVERYDAY to maintain a healthy weight.
(It will be scarey at first to up your caloriies by that much, You will gain because your body doesn't trust you yet. It will want to hang on to everything. Until it trusts that you will feed it enough on a regular basis. Then you'll level off and lose some of what you put on.)
I want you to keep healthy, And get strong! Your body is a vehicle that has to get you through your whole life, How far and how fast it can go depends on how well you fuel it.
I've got to say I can't help but wonder if you are involved in a career like dance or modeling that is pressuring you to strive toward such an unhealthy goal.
Also I cribbed the following off a US gov't health site:
A BMI of 19 for women and 20 for men is too thin.
Health risks of low body weight...
• Anemia and Nutrient Deficiencies
• Bone loss and osteoporosis
• Heart irregularities and blood vessel diseases

Hey girl, I know exactly how you are feeling because I struggle every single weekend! I do awesome over the week days but when the weekends come I have a hard time staying in my calorie limit and during the week I have 1200 calories a day! I am not bored or anything but I have three kids and my husband and I are usually busy with the kids at baseball games, shopping trips, camping, etc. So I have a hard time sticking to my 1200 calories! It is just to easy to go over my calories when we go out to eat and so easy to snack! I need some advice also because I get so frustrated and wish I could just keep from eating! I wonder if mine is because I deprive myself from all the sweets and carbs during the week that when the weekends come I am craving them like crazy! I dont know but I have got to stop or I will never reach my goal weight! Hang in there girl! We can do this but it is going to take a lot of determination and will power!!0
