Hi All

I currently use a store bought Teriyaki sauce....however am trying to look at how much sodium i am having. So thought a home made one might be better than a store bought one.

So if anyone has any recipies, i'd be grateful :-)

Thanks

    Here is one:

Most of the recipes I saw used soy sauce, which is high in sodium. You could use Tamari which is a sweeter soy sauce and is lower in sodium, or find a low-sodium soy sauce.

I made this the other day as a rice bowl full of veggies and brown rice. It is awesome teriyaki sauce. I don't think I will ever buy it again.
1/4 cup soy sauce reduced sodium is what I used
    1 cup water
    1/2 tsp ground Ginger
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    1/3cup brown sugar
    2 tbsp corn starch
    1/4 cup water
Mix the cornstarch and 1/4 water together and put aside. Mix the rest together in sucepan. Bring to boil and stir in corn starch to thickness you want.
