Hello Everyone,

I am quite new to fitnesspal, I have been using it for two weeks now and I have lost 3 pounds, which I am really happy with :D

I have a bit of a stupid question; every single day my protein level is much higher then the recommended amount. Is this a bad thing? Will this affect any weight loss or does it not really matter at all?

Cheers Muchly!

proteins good so if you go over its excellent :)

it helps your body repair muscle tissue after working out and help to maintain your muscles too.

i'm having my post-workout strawberry protein shake as we speak

I'm always over in protein and sugar. If you're working out you need the extra protein. Don't worry about it.Sounds like your doing good!

I try to get as much protein as possible. It helps me stay full and helps my muscles repair. MFP sets its protein really, really low. Don't worry about it! :)
