Does any fitness gurus know if agave nectar is okay to put in tea during weight loss? I put two teaspoons in 6oz of tea with a little milk. Will it slow my results if I have 1-2 cups per day? I have taken sugar out of my diet. As well as eat only foods with 5g or less of sugar per serving. I don't eat anything with artificial sugar. i do my best to stay away from artificial anything...

I do the same thing everyday with honey and I've used Agave occasionally as well, but just log it and make sure you meet your calorie goal. I don't think it will do anything specifically to affect your weight loss and in fact stuff like Agave and honey are better than sugar as they are more slowly processed by your body.0
