Do you ever look at other people's tickers?

And wonder if you'll ever get there? I see so many that have great progress of 20lbs (and more/less but a LOT of 20 pounders) and feel like that goal is so far away.

Constantly. Sometimes it's overwhelming, and then sometimes it's awesome inspiration :)

One day at a time. each mini victory gets you one step closer. You WILL get there!

I felt that way when I started - it takes time and dedication but you will reach your goals!

I love the tickers. Make me happy. I mean, seriously... look at this page alone. 62 lost?! 126 lost?! Gotta love the inspiration.

I don't think you CAN'T look at tickers even if you wanted too.

I personally don't like when people use the option of “lbs LEFT...” I think it's misleading and makes them look like they lost more b/c all you see is 50 but then notice they only lost 10.

I'm only here to lose 10 lbs or so, so I'm ok that mine has little numbers since it's hard to lose lbs with my frame/height, it's more about toning.

I'm just happy one of my wedding photos looks perfect in the ticker from the way it was shot, love it!

When I look at peoples tickers, it gives me hope that it can be done! When I started here, to be very honest, I gave up a few times. Then I would see how others were making great progress, and also, that the people with the greatest results had been on here for quite a while. That made me really understand there are no quick fixes. It took years for us to get this way, and we were not going to fix it overnight. Use other's tickers as inspiration to keep going, and good luck on your journey :)

I love looking at tickers. Sometimes, I'm not sure people know they can go back and enter their starting weight before they started MFP. A lot of signatures state their starting weight before and after MFP, but you can go back and enter whatever weight and date you want.

Yes i do. I get discouraged sometimes but when i look at other people's ticker it gives me hope that it can be done. I am still amazed that i made it to 22 lbs lost. My ticker also reminds me of how far i have come.:drinker:
