Good Energy Bolstering Foods?

I feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle. I've been sick off and on the past few weeks and I am constantly exhausted, no matter how much sleep I get. I know it's even more important to watch what I put in my body when my defenses are down, but it's a struggle to really care.
Any suggestions on what I could eat to bolster my energy/immune system and get my body back on track?

I'm no expert, so take this for what it's worth. I did lose 70 lbs in 6 mo without exercise. I also have sleep issues, which effect my weight loss and energy. Having said that, I suggest a good volume of lightly steamed fresh vegetables for two meals: carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, celery, squash, full-pod peas, green beans (not corn or potatos), and raw greens. This cleanses the stomach in a few weeks, replaces necessary nutrients not in canned or processed foods, yet is filling and tasty. Avoid oils, salt and dairy products with these. In addition, a serving of bran cereal, either first or last thing in the day provides B vitamins for quick energy and bulk fiber for healthy elimination. Whether it was the weight loss itself, or the foods or a combination, I have twice the energy I had a year ago.0
